Russia is on the move!  Closer than ever before, Russia is in the process of moving several nuclear weapons and their firing platforms into Cuba!

According to a national leading report this is supposedly in response to us placing several missiles defense systems throughout Eastern Europe.

Look, with tension growing by the second in Syria, Egypt, Iran and we will certainly not leave Israel out of this equation either.  We are closer to the threshold of entering a Global Thermonuclear was than at any other point in time since Kennedy's Presidency.

It has been quite some time since any of use have seen any great levels of activity coming from the Russian Bear, however, someone has awaken the sleeping giant.  For those who thought that Russia was extinct and not a world player in the regards of military might.....think again!

Moscow is deploying warships at its base in the Syrian port of Tartus. The long-planned mission comes, providentially, at the very moment when it could help prevent a potential conflict in the strategically important Middle Eastern country.

The Russian battle group will consist of three vessels led by the heavy aircraft-carrying missile cruiser, Admiral Kuznetsov.

Russian military officials insist that the move has no connection with the ongoing crisis in the region and was planned a year ago, the Izvestia newspaper reports. Apart from Syria, the aircraft carrier and its escort ships are set to visit the Lebanese capital, Beirut, Genoa in Italy and Cyprus, says the former Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Viktor Kravchenko.

Nevertheless, he added that the presence of a military force other than NATO’s is very useful for this region, because “it will prevent the outbreak of an armed conflict,” Izvestia quoted Kravchenko as saying.

The Soviet Union, the Admiral recalled, created a special naval squadron to deter Western military forces in the Mediterranean Sea. To repair and supply its ships, Moscow needed its own maintenance base in the region, and that was how the base in Tartus came into being.

Now....If you believe this....I have ocean front property available for sale right here in Arkansas.  

This is a well planned and executed move on the part of Russia.  Vladimir Putin is truly starting to flex his muscles and with everything falling to pieces in the Middle East it is only going to continue to get worse wit the passing of each and every day.

Get ready cause the bombs are ready to fly!  Who will be first?

Earthquake In Arkansas, Could It Happen?

While listening to the news earlier today I was caught off guard by one of the topics that they were discussing and that was that Arkansas State Emergency Agencies along with FEMA were doing a mock plan in the event of a 7.2 magnitude quake.

You may be asking me why I find this so very interesting and unique to be discussed and disclosed at the time that it was.  I will give you the full details of this as we proceed with this post.  I want for you to take a look at a news item that was released in 2009.  Based on the scientific data they have already on file along with other seismic and geographic information indicates that Arkansas is at a greater risk for a catastrophic earthquake than those who live within the San Andreas Fault Zone in California.  Ok, so you may ask why the tiff and excitement about this....it is quite apparent that someone within the confines of the State Government Agencies may quite very well know or have privy information to that would lead them to believe that this is something that is closer on the horizon than what they may be letting on to.

The image you see on the left is provided courtesy of the United States Geological Services and as you can see by reading the chart the yellow, orange and red areas are those that are at the greatest risk for a major geological atrophy.

Only the far Northeast corner of Arkansas is in the extreme danger of a large scale seismic activity.  However, a magnitude 7+ would be felt throughout nearly the entire state.  Obviously an earthquake of this scale would cause a serious disruption in essential services from fire, police and critical systems that are required to keep the state operating effectively.  Is this something that our state is prepared for not only from an Emergency Preparedness level but from a fiscal one as well.  Seeing as Arkansas ranked third nationally in child poverty and with more than obvious reasons can we truly afford of what would be more than a devastating experience of such a high powered quake.

Many of us who live close to or near the Gulf region can remember how FEMA handled or should I say the lack of proper handling of those who were affected by Hurricane Katrina.  Is FEMA and those who are in charge of it prepared to step up to the plate if such a disaster as the one they were doing mock up exercises for in Little Rock, AR prepared for what could exponentially be one of the worst catastrophes to hit the state in many years.

I suppose all we can do is sit back and watch as the events begin to unfold and certainly hope and pray that we are not stricken with such a catastrophe on this scale any time soon!  However, for those who share similar thinking as that of myself....one can only plan for a rainy day and I would start planning now!  I see this as just another excuse for the larger cities within the State of Arkansas to implement what is being seen around other large metropolitan areas around the country with creating a Police State.

Although it has been a slow start to get this new blog site off of the ground, it is beginning to take shape and more and more features and a more refined look is taking place.

As you can see by the chart illustration, this is a flow of the traffic that is being driven to my blog site either through various social networking sites and by some blog submission sites that I have submitted it to.  I hope to see a continue growth and spike in the amount of traffic and visitor's and hope that I can continue to write and deliver quality content that they feel worth taking the time to read.

As with any new venture trying to get it to take off the way you anticipated and be slow and painful to say the least, however, as I have learned from my previous blogging experiences it took time to get my site recognized through the major search engines and such.  Each of you can assist with this by voting for this site via the button that is nestled on the upper right hand side, which assist in increasing our page rankings and SEO criteria.

I enjoy publishing my life as well as writing about a variety of topics that range from politics, life, love and a great deal more.  Whether it be keeping up with the latest technology advances or gadgets for your smart phone you can count on myself to deliver a unique blend of materials for you to view.  Of course, my personal belief is that no site is complete without some interesting music to go along with the reading.  From time to time we change the type of music that is set to autoplay on top of our site.  So, if we incorporate a video or audio presentation in any of our post's you will need to make sure to stop the playing of it first.  Sorry for the inconvenience and I could have set it up not to autoplay but I enjoy the music that was selected and want to share it with all of you as well!
